Program Staff

Almog Berti, Program Director

publication1Almog was born and raised in Israel. After graduation, she served in the Magen David Adom Ambulance Volunteer Program as a First Aid Instructor and the Assistance Coordinator at Israel Experience. She has served in a few positions at the Jewish Agency and Israel Experience, which is what led her finally to be the Director of her favorite program, Israel by Design.

If you could do anything in Israel, what would you do? All you have to do is to pick what you want to do and when you want to do it, and it is my job to handle the rest. Feel free to bounce ideas off me or we can brainstorm together!

Allison Wasserman, Program Advisor

Allison grew up in the Northern Suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. She graduated from the University of Delaware in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in interpersonal communication and a minor in sociology. The summer after her graduation, Allison interned in the Operations department at Israel Seminar in Tel Aviv. She helped VIP tourists plan and organize their luxury vacations in Israel. After experiencing the day-to-day of a young professional in Israel, Allison made the commitment to become a citizen by making Aliyah in May of 2019.

In the evenings, she tutors young Israeli students in English. Through her role at Israel Experience, as a Program Advisor, she hopes to meet many more participants that also fall in love with the unique culture, food, and excitement of life in Israel by setting up perfectly fit and personally customized Israel by Design programs. Allison is ready to guide all of her participants through each step of their extraordinary journey in Israel!
