Here are the steps of the application and admissions process:
Fill out our online application form. (Much like a graduate school application, you will be asked to pay our $50 application fee.)
An Israel by Design staff member will be in touch with you to schedule an interview. The interview will allow our staff to fully understand your needs, wants, and aims for your time in Israel. Following the interview, you will be notified of your acceptance to the program.
Once you have been accepted to the program, you will be put in touch with the Program Director, Almog Berti, for a consultation to begin building your completely personalized program.
After your consultation with the Program Director, we will send you a link to pay the $150 deposit. This deposit will be applied to your overall tuition and will reserve your place in the program. After you pay this deposit, our staff will begin to confirm all the components of your program. Within a few weeks, you will receive an outline of your customized program.
The next step is the placement process. The Program Director will put you in touch with any possible work or volunteer experiences (for possible interviews) as well as send you information about any special interest courses you wish to take. At this time, you should begin the Masa Israel Journey scholarship application. All registration and medical forms must be submitted at this time.
Now you can book your flight and arrange for payment with Israel by Design staff! Your payment schedule depends on the components which you have added to your program. At least one month before the program, full tuition is due.
Israel by Design staff will not only work with you to build your program before you arrive in Israel but will also provide support during your program. In addition, an Israel by Design staff member will coordinate your volunteer work, and keep in regular contact with you to iron out any issues that may arise.
